The Italian driver, who shared the wheel with Giovanni Venturini and the South African Adrian Zaugg, proved to be the fastest also in qualify where 22 crews lapped in less than a second gap. First ever pole position for the Lamborghini Huracán GT3 which also ruled the first two hours of the race with Bortolotti.

After the pit stop it was Venturini’s time to take over. Due to the cold tyres he slipped in P 2 but still lapping with consistance. Spoling the race was a drive through committed for his pit stop when the driver turned on the engine while the car was still on its jacks. The Mechanic in charge for the release slipped and could not timingly release the car.
The last stint saw Zaugg recovering places still keeping a considerable pace.
